Lamborghini Urus vs Mercedes G63 vs Rolls-Royce Cullinan: Which Luxury SUV Should You Rent?
Three SUVs dominate the luxury rental conversation: the Lamborghini Urus, the Mercedes-AMG G63 and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. All three seat five, all three turn heads, and all three are available in the Emiris collection in Orlando. But they are very different cars.
This comparison breaks down price, performance, comfort, space and personality so you can choose the right one for your trip.
Quick comparison
- Lamborghini Urus — the sports car of the group. From $999/day.
- Mercedes G63 AMG (Brabus styling) — the icon. From $899/day.
- Rolls-Royce Cullinan — the limousine. From $1,150/day.
Rates are current at the time of writing; confirm with your concierge. Insurance is required and not included, a refundable security deposit applies, and mileage allowances start at 100 miles per day depending on the vehicle.
Lamborghini Urus: the super SUV
The Urus is what happens when a supercar maker builds an SUV. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces over 640 horsepower in the 2022 model, and it accelerates like a sports car while carrying five people and their bags.
What it's like to drive: fast, sharp and loud in the best way. Drive modes change its personality from a comfortable cruiser to an aggressive performance car. It feels lower and more planted than you expect from an SUV.
Style: angular, low and unmistakably Lamborghini. It draws attention without being as boxy as the G-Class.
Best for: drivers who want supercar thrills and SUV practicality; birthday weekends; groups who want to arrive with energy.

Mercedes G63 AMG: the icon
The G-Class traces its roots to a military off-roader from the late 1970s, and its upright, boxy shape has barely changed since. The AMG G63 adds a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing roughly 577 horsepower, a booming exhaust and a luxurious cabin. Our G63 wears a Brabus styling kit for an even more aggressive look.
What it's like to drive: commanding. You sit high with an excellent view of the road, the V8 sounds fantastic, and the car feels solid and powerful. Its tall, square body means it's less agile in corners than the Urus.
Style: the most recognizable shape on the road. It looks great in black, photographs dramatically, and suits fashion-forward events.
Practical notes: the rear door is side-hinged with the spare wheel mounted on it, so leave space behind the car when parking. Doors close with a satisfying, heavy click.
Best for: making a statement; content creators; nights out; travelers who love iconic design.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan: the limousine
The Cullinan is Rolls-Royce's first SUV, with a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 producing about 563 horsepower. But horsepower isn't the point. The Cullinan is designed to be silent, smooth and effortless.
What it's like to drive: serene. The suspension floats over bumps, the V12 is nearly inaudible, and the cabin feels sealed from the outside world. It's quick when you ask, but it encourages you to relax.
Style: stately and elegant, with the Pantheon grille, Spirit of Ecstasy and rear-hinged coach doors.
Best for: weddings, anniversaries, executives, families who want the best ride, and anyone who wants their passengers to feel like VIPs.

Head-to-head
Price
The G63 is the most affordable of the three at Emiris (from $899/day), followed by the Urus ($999/day) and the Cullinan ($1,150/day).
Performance
The Urus is the clear winner. It's the quickest and the most rewarding to drive hard. The G63 is very fast in a straight line but less agile. The Cullinan is powerful but tuned for comfort.
Comfort
The Cullinan wins easily, with the quietest cabin and smoothest ride. The G63 is comfortable but firmer and louder. The Urus is comfortable in its softer modes but sportier overall.
Passenger experience
For rear-seat passengers, the Cullinan is in a league of its own. Its coach doors also make getting in and out easy, especially in formal wear. The Urus and G63 both carry adults comfortably in the rear.
Luggage and practicality
All three handle airport luggage well. The Cullinan and Urus have conventional tailgates; the G63's side-hinged door needs clearance behind the car.
Presence
All three stop traffic. The G63 is the most recognizable, the Urus the most dramatic, and the Cullinan the most prestigious.
Which one should you rent?
- Choose the Urus if you love driving and want the most excitement.
- Choose the G63 if you want the iconic look and a powerful, high-riding experience at the best price of the three.
- Choose the Cullinan if comfort, elegance and your passengers' experience matter most.
Still deciding? Consider the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 (from $899/day) for chauffeur-grade comfort, or read our family SUV guide for more options.
Which SUV for which occasion?
- Airport arrival with family: Cullinan for comfort, Urus if the driver wants some fun on the way to the hotel.
- Wedding: Cullinan, for its coach doors and elegance. The G63 suits modern, fashion-forward weddings.
- Birthday weekend with friends: Urus. It's fast, loud and ready for a night out.
- Content creation and photoshoots: G63. Its shape is instantly recognizable on camera, especially in black.
- Client dinner or business travel: Cullinan, or the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 for rear-seat comfort.
- A relaxed family vacation: any of the three. Prioritize the Cullinan if grandparents are traveling, and the Urus if you'd rather drive than be driven.
What stands out behind the wheel
In the Urus, it's the way the car shrinks around you as you drive. It feels smaller and more agile than its size suggests, and the throttle response in the sportier modes is sharper than any other SUV here.
In the G63, it's the sense of occasion: the upright seating position, the side-exit exhaust note and the heavy, satisfying doors. Everyone around you notices it too.
In the Cullinan, it's the silence. Close the door and the outside world almost disappears, and the ride smooths out Orlando's rougher roads.
