Wedding Car Rental in Orlando: How to Choose an Exotic or Luxury Car
The car you leave your wedding in shows up in your photos for the rest of your life. In Orlando, couples rent everything from a Rolls-Royce Cullinan for a classic exit to a Lamborghini for a dramatic getaway. Emiris wedding car rentals currently range from $399 per day to $1,500 per day, depending on the vehicle.
This guide covers how to choose the right car, how to plan the timing, what it costs and the small details that make the day run smoothly.
Start with the role the car will play
Before choosing a model, decide what you need the car to do. Most wedding cars fill one or more of these roles:
- The arrival — bringing the bride, groom or wedding party to the ceremony.
- The photoshoot — a beautiful backdrop for portraits between the ceremony and reception.
- The grand exit — the moment the couple drives away as guests cheer.
- The honeymoon start — keeping the car for the next day or the weekend.
A car that's perfect for a photoshoot may not be the most practical for an arrival in a full gown, so the role matters.
The best wedding cars in the Emiris collection
For a classic, elegant wedding: Rolls-Royce Cullinan
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan (from $1,150/day) is the most graceful wedding car we offer. Its rear-hinged coach doors open wide, so stepping in and out in a gown is easy, and the cabin has room for the couple and a parent or bridesmaid. It photographs beautifully from every angle.
For a dramatic entrance: McLaren 570S
The McLaren 570S (from $1,195/day) has doors that swing upward, which makes for unforgettable portraits and a stylish exit for two. Keep in mind that low sports cars are harder to climb into in a long dress, so practice once before the big moment.
For a showstopping exit: Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder
A Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder (from $1,200/day) with the roof down is pure celebration. The convertible top makes it great for photos, and the V10 soundtrack makes the exit unforgettable.
For modern luxury: Mercedes-Maybach GLS600
The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 (from $899/day) is built around rear-seat comfort, with a quiet cabin and plenty of space. It's a smart choice for transporting the couple or family in comfort.
For a bold statement: Mercedes G63 AMG
The Mercedes G63 AMG with Brabus styling (from $899/day) suits modern, fashion-forward weddings and looks dramatic in black-and-white photography.
How much does a wedding car rental cost in Orlando?
Plan for three costs:
- The daily rate — from $399 to $1,500 per day at Emiris, depending on the car.
- A refundable security deposit — the amount depends on the vehicle and is confirmed by your concierge.
- Insurance — required and not included. Full coverage is preferred. If your policy doesn't cover the car, our concierge will try to help you find coverage.
Mileage is limited, with allowances starting at 100 miles per day depending on the vehicle. Most weddings within the Orlando area use only a fraction of that, but tell your concierge if your ceremony, reception and hotel are far apart.
Who drives the wedding car?
Emiris rentals are driven by the renter or an additional driver added to the rental agreement. Every driver must be 21 or older, have a valid driver's license and be covered by insurance. Many couples choose a trusted friend or family member as the designated driver for the day, so they can enjoy the celebration, and ride together for the grand exit.
Whoever drives should not drink before driving. It's worth deciding this before the day.
When to book your wedding car
Book as soon as your date and venue are confirmed. Popular cars and weekends, especially during Orlando's spring wedding season and around the holidays, can book up well in advance. When you inquire, share:
- Your wedding date
- The ceremony and reception addresses
- The time you need the car and how long you'll keep it
- The number of passengers
- Any photography plans
Timing your wedding day with the car
- Schedule the handoff early. Have the car delivered with time to spare, not minutes before you need it.
- Build in traffic time. I-4 and the roads around the attractions can be congested. If your venue is across town, leave a buffer.
- Plan the photoshoot window. Golden hour, roughly the hour before sunset, gives the most flattering light for car portraits.
- Keep the exit simple. Confirm with your venue where the car can park for the exit and whether sparklers or confetti are allowed near vehicles.
Details couples often forget
Decorations
Ribbons and "Just Married" signs look great, but anything taped, glued or tied to the paint can cause damage. Ask your concierge before attaching anything to the car.
Getting in and out in a gown
Low sports cars and long trains don't always mix. Practice getting in once before the ceremony. SUVs and the Cullinan are the easiest options for formal wear.
Florida weather
Afternoon thunderstorms are common in summer. If you're renting a convertible, have a plan for raising the roof quickly. Keep an umbrella in the car.
Heat
Start the air conditioning a few minutes before the couple gets in, especially for midday ceremonies.
Photos with the car
Coordinate with your photographer so the car is clean, well positioned and parked where it won't block other guests or vendors.
A sample wedding-day car timeline
Every wedding is different, but this timeline shows how couples often plan around the car:
- Morning or early afternoon — delivery. The car arrives at your hotel, venue or getting-ready location with plenty of time to spare. Your designated driver does the walk-around and learns the controls.
- One hour before the ceremony — departure. The driver takes the bride, groom or wedding party to the ceremony, allowing extra time for traffic.
- After the ceremony — portraits. Your photographer uses the car for portraits while guests move to cocktail hour.
- Golden hour — the hero shots. The hour before sunset gives the warmest light for photos of the couple with the car.
- End of the night — the grand exit. Guests line up, the couple gets in, and the car drives away.
- Next day — the honeymoon drive (optional). Keep the car for a brunch drive or a trip to Winter Park or Mount Dora before returning it.
